Coil Gun

This coil gun uses electromagnets to propel a magnetic projectile. The purpose of this project was to use the electromagnet theory I had learned in physics class, and apply it to an engineering project.

All of the timing is done via trial and error. In a more polished version of this, it would be sensors to determine when to switch the coils on and off and not preset times.
